Coastal Scents Haul

I made my very first purchase through coastalscents.com. I knew I wanted brushes because they are so inexpensive! I thought why not? I have a few Makeup Geek brushes that I love and I know that they come from Crown Brush, I'm thinking these coastal scents brushes come from Crown brush as well. The Crown brush website is too expensive for me so thats how I decided lol

ANYWAY! Gosh lol This is what I got (from top to bottom 3rd pic):

Shadow/Liner brush, $1
Chisel Angle Fluff brush , $1.50
Deluxe Duo Fibre Shadow brush, $1.98
Pro Blending Fluff brush, $1.98
Classic Blender Synthetic brush, $2.95
Classic Blender Natural brush, $2.95

And then the Go Palette in Cairo, Egypt.

From first impression the shadow/liner brush and angle fluff brush suck, I thought they were bigger, but that's okay because they were the least expensive lol. I really like the Pro Blending and Duo Fibre brushes. The Classic Blender brushes are pinched at the ferrule and I thought they were dome shaped, and I wish they were, but they still feel really nice.

I quickly swatched a few of the Go Palette shadows and the color payoff is pretty good from what I can tell so far. I still need to play around with it.

I thought about getting one of the 88 shadow palettes but I just can't decide... I already have a lot of palettes like that, such as ELF 100 shadow palette... Does anyone have an 88 shadow palette? Would you recommend it?? Please Help me decide! LOL

OH AND! They included the cutest bumper sticker!!! I <3 MAKEUP!! LOL (I Instagram'ed it lol)

NEW MAC Nicki Minaj and Ricky Martin Viva Glam Collab!!!

Okay so I got an email on January 31st from MAC saying that I was able to order the new Nicki Minaj and Ricky Martin Collab Viva Glam (mouthful huh?) lipstick before anyone else. I of course jumped right on it. You could only order one lipstick though, but you could send the email to 2 friends so they are able to get it early as well. This isn't available until Feb. 15th.

This lipstick is $14.50 and all proceeds go to HIV/AIDS research.
I received this shipment in less than a week but wasn't able to post until today.

MAC describes this as a bright yellow pink, and that it is lol. I musta took 20 pics for the lip swatch and I couldn't get the correct color. The pic of the lipstick in the tube is the closest I could get to the true color, SORRY! :/

Anyway, this is a satin finish and glides on smooth and pretty opaque. This is VERY bright but I think it goes very well with my skintone because it's a yellow-orangy undertone rather than a blue based undertone. I'm excited to wear this in the summer, I plan on tapping on my lips rather than swiping :D

So what do you think of this collab? Will you be picking this up?
